"I am finalizing plans for our annual volunteer recognition luncheon in April and I am using an Olympic theme Volunteers...America's Gold. I had purchased stars earlier and I painted them gold. With the stars having five points, I wanted to represent the five colors of the olympic rings. So I used embroidery thread in each of the five colors and placed the cut strands on the rings I purchased from you. I then glued a ring of each color on to eac point of the star. I spray painted ice cream cones gold and then put a tealight candle in the inside of the cone. The cones will be placed on each star and will be used as part of the table decorations for the luncheon. The cones will help to represent the olympic torch.
